Local label for St. Barths
The local label promoting St. Barths as a destination was just revealed on March 30th.
A local label is a visual identity that is given to a region. It is a set of values derived from the region's identity.
St Barth has made the choice of a local label to control the uses made of the island, its name, reputation , history and traditions. The objective is to assert the identity of the island, to better protect it for the benefit of its people, institutions and representatives, and visitors. Also, the Tourism Committee wishes by this way to serve economic interests by building a strategy of attractiveness around the label, its promotion and its many variations.
